Three of the best… wedding dresses with straps

Bridal catwalks this season have been embracing a new trend – straps! And, unlike strapless gowns, wedding dresses with straps really can suit figures of all shapes and sizes. They’re also ideal if you want a little extra support and comfort.

There are so many options too. Thin, delicate spaghetti straps are perfect if you want something different from the classic strapless look. Then there are thicker lace illusion straps, which flatter shoulders and add extra coverage to your décolletage. Alternatively, perhaps you’d prefer something in between with scalloped lace edging to add interest and prettiness across the shoulders.

Show-stopping Federica is the perfect example of a stunning strappy number. Covered from head to toe in sparkling beading, this fit and flare style boasts delicate straps across the shoulders for added support and sparkle.

The bodice features a sexy plunging neckline but the illusion details across the front alongside the straps help to soften the look, ensuring it’s attractive but not too revealing.

Look closely and you’ll see just how exquisite the embellishment is, with its mix of sparkling crystals and pearlescent and silver beading.

The wide illusion straps are edged in pretty scalloped lace, which also trails seductively across the top of the bodice. Underneath there’s flattering ruched chiffon which continues across the waistline.

Turn around and you’ll reveal more of the pretty straps and romantic ruched chiffon, all held together with thick luxurious ribbon. Shh, it’s our secret, but the gorgeous lacing isn’t just there to look pretty. It also helps ensure that Adela fits like an absolute dream!

A vintage feel

And last, but certainly not least, is fabulous Hemsworth. It’s a stunning sheath design with double spaghetti straps that are one of the stand out features.
